Program: Our speaker will be Allison Vaughn. Allison will present a program on glade and woodland fall-blooming plants.

Kansas City Chapter
Tuesday, September 7 2010 - Chapter Meeting
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Discovery Center, 4750 Troost, Kansas City, Mo. Located between KFC and Brush Creek.
Program: Lisa Richter,will be conduction a hands-on demonstration of soap making using native plants. Bring a bar of plain Ivory soap, a cheese grater if they have one, and dried native plant leaves, flowers, etc. if you have time to collect some.

Details: Volunteers are requested to help sell native plants for this event. The MO Native Wildflowers Nursery will supply the native plants but we need volunteers who are knowledgeable about native plants to help conduct the sales. Click here for details on the event.
